The funds we raise along the ROMP route will benefit Battle Dawgs.

We will be in contact with several businesses along our route in the coming weeks. After sharing with them the amazing services Battle Dawgs provides to our Veterans, I am certain that the Pony Express run will be a success. Our route as it currently sits will take us by Posts 57 (Fairbanks), 30 (North Pole), 27 (Glenallen), and 15 (Palmer). All Posts are encouraged to fund raise on their own so as to contribute to the Pony Express fundraising efforts.

Tentative Schedule

  • Meet & Greet - June 24 at Post 35
  • Depart June 25 and overnight at Post 30
  • Depart June 26 and overnight in Tok
  • Depart June 27 for home

The 2021 ROMP shirt design is being finalized as well as the Alaska ROMP patch.

2021 ROMP update 3/5/2021 - We have Thompson’s Eagle’s Claw motorcycle park & rental cabins in Tok reserved just for us the night of 26 June 2021. It’s a cash only park so plan accordingly.

$15 per person on primitive sites — can accommodate 2 bikes/2 tents per site

$40 per person for 2 cabins

$40 per person bunk bus/ sleeps 4

$15 per person bunkhouse/ sleeps 4

$15 per person bunk ambulance/ sleeps 2

$10 per person on space A spaces

All prices subject to change. They’re looking forward to our arrival.

2021 ROMP update 03/04/2021 - All activities listed below will begin at Post 35:

June 25th there will be a Road Captain meeting at 8am followed by Chapter RCs briefing their Riders afterwards. Tentative time for kickstands up is 9am.

Depending on the number of bikes that are involved it is likely that we will have groups leaving in intervals of 15 minutes.

We are looking for people to drive chase vehicles. One with a trailer capable of loading a bike onto preferable.

There will be a group making stops to pick up donations along the way. Again, the Pony Express portion of the 2021 ROMP will go towards benefitting Battle Dawgs. The wonderful support they give our Veterans is unmatched and deserves recognition! We will be asking for one Rider from every Chapter to be in the Pony Express group as a representative for their Post.

Chapters that are coming up to Post 35, we ask that you bring a donation to contribute. These funds can come from businesses in your area, from your Post, or from passing the hat at your next meeting.

Chapters and Posts that we are passing by, we ask that you have a donation we can pick up from you when we stop by.

2021 ROMP ticket prices will be $60. This will include your ROMP shirt, ROMP patch, and 3 meals.
